What does this fault code mean?
The audio module (AUD) checks its internal components and the parameters needed for active noise cancellation. The code is set when part of the software is missing, and The complete audio unit may then stop working.
Possible causes
- Module not programmed with the parameters for active noise cancellation
- Software download not fully completed
What you can do
- 1Check that the battery is in good condition, as low voltage can break off a programming session
- 2Have a workshop download and program the latest software into the audio module with diagnostic equipment
- 3Make sure the software download was completed before clearing the code
- 4If the fault remains after programming, replace the audio control module
