What does this fault code mean?
The code means the software for active noise cancellation in the audio module (AUD) is incomplete or does not suit the module. Part of the software is missing, which the module detects when it checks its internal components while powered up. The complete audio unit may then stop working.
Possible causes
- Module not programmed with the active noise cancellation parameters
- Software download not fully completed
What you can do
- 1Find out whether the audio module has recently been replaced, as new software must then be downloaded
- 2Have a workshop download and install the latest active noise cancellation software with diagnostic equipment
- 3Clear the code only once programming is finished, and check that the fault does not return
- 4If the fault remains after the download, replace the audio control module
