What does this fault code mean?
The audio control module (AUD) has lost the signal from the left headphone panel. The usual cause is a break in the signal wire or a damaged headphone panel, and the fault shows while the module is active. The headphones then do not work.
Possible causes
- Break in the signal wire between the audio module and the left headphone panel
- Damaged headphone panel
What you can do
- 1Check that the audio system fuses are intact and see where they are located in the owner's manual
- 2Check that the connector to the left headphone panel is fully seated
- 3Visually inspect the wire for breaks and replace it if needed
- 4Check the headphone panel with diagnostic equipment and replace it if faulty
