What does this fault code mean?
The audio control module (AUD) holds a signal configuration ID that does not match the one sent out by the central electronic module (CEM) on the CAN network. The usual reason is that the audio module comes from another car, for example a used unit with different software or hardware.
Possible causes
- Incorrect configuration ID, because the module is not intended for this car
What you can do
- 1Find out whether the audio module was fitted from another car, since that can cause the code
- 2Switch the ignition on, read the codes with diagnostic equipment and check whether the code is still stored
- 3Have a workshop load the correct new software into the audio module
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop load new software into the central electronic module
