The audio module (AUD) monitors the current drawn by its internal components. The code is set when the current is too high, which can be caused by a charging system delivering the wrong voltage or by a damaged audio module. The speakers and headphones then do not work.
Possible causes
- Battery charger or starter unit with an incorrect charging voltage connected
- Damaged charging system
- Damaged audio control module
What you can do
- 1Check that the audio system fuses are intact and see where they are located in the owner's manual
- 2Make sure no battery charger or starter unit with the wrong voltage is connected
