What does this fault code mean?
The audio unit (AUM) has recorded several failed start attempts by its internal CD player in a row. The fault normally lies in a defective audio unit. The CD player then does not work, and navigation and the audio system can be affected.

- Defective audio unit
What you can do
- 1Read and note all stored codes before anything is cleared
- 2Use diagnostic equipment to establish whether the fault is permanent or intermittent
- 3If the code is not stored after a test run, the fault was probably temporary
- 4Replace the audio unit if the fault remains; after replacement it can take a while before GPS signals are received correctly
