What does this fault code mean?
The MD player's laser has failed to focus, and the fault is intermittent. The code is set for a fault in the MD player or the disc. The cause may be a focusing fault in the player, a defective disc or condensation. It shows as no sound from the MD player.
Possible causes
- Focusing fault in the MD player
- Defective MD player
- Defective MD disc
- Condensation on the disc or in the MD player
What you can do
- 1Check that the disc is clean and undamaged and that there is no condensation on it
- 2If the code does not return, no further action is needed
- 3Have a workshop replace the MD player if the fault returns
