What does this fault code mean?
Feeding the MD in and out of the MD player is not completed within the allowed time, and the fault is intermittent. The code is set for a fault in the MD player or the disc. The cause may be debris in the MD slot, a defective disc or a loading fault in the player. It shows as no sound from the player.
Possible causes
- Disc loading fault in the MD player
- Defective MD disc
- Debris in the MD slot
What you can do
- 1Make sure nothing in the MD slot is blocking the disc
- 2Try a different, clean and undamaged MD
- 3If the code does not return, no further action is needed
Symptoms you may notice3
- No sound from the MD player
- The MD cannot be loaded into or ejected from the player
- An error message is shown in the audio unit display
