What does this fault code mean?
The movement of the pickup over the MD is not completed in time, and the fault is intermittent. The code is set for a fault in the MD player. The usual cause is a pickup fault or a defective MD player, and it shows as no sound from the MD player.
Possible causes
- Pickup fault in the MD player
- Defective MD player
What you can do
- 1Try a different, clean and undamaged MD to rule out the disc
- 2If the code does not return, no further action is needed
- 3Have a workshop replace the MD player if the fault returns
