What does this fault code mean?
The audio control module (AUM) has at some point detected that focusing in the four-disc changer has not worked. The fault is intermittent, meaning it is sporadic and may not be present right now. The cause may be the changer, the disc, or condensation on the disc or in the mechanism.
Possible causes
- Defective four-disc CD changer
- Defective CD disc
- CD disc inserted the wrong way round
- Condensation on the disc or in the changer
What you can do
- 1Note the code, clear it and see whether it returns
- 2Check that the disc is seated correctly and not damp
- 3Try a different, undamaged disc
- 4If the code does not return no further action is needed; otherwise have a workshop check the changer
