What does this fault code mean?
The audio control module (AUM) has found that inserting or ejecting a disc in the four-disc changer takes too long. The fault is intermittent. Disc loading is mechanical, so dirt, a foreign object in the disc slot or a badly seated disc may be the cause.
Possible causes
- Disc loading fault in the four-disc changer
- Defective four-disc changer
- Defective CD disc
- Debris in the disc slot
What you can do
- 1Check that nothing is lodged in the disc slot
- 2Try inserting and ejecting a clean, undamaged disc
- 3Note the code, clear it and check whether it returns
- 4If it returns, have a workshop check the disc loading in the changer
