What does this fault code mean?
The audio control module (AUM) cannot detect the four-disc changer on the car's network, or cannot communicate with it. The fault is present now, so the changer does not work at all. The cause usually lies in the changer or in the audio control module itself, and the connectors should also be checked.
Possible causes
- Defective four-disc changer
- Internal fault in the audio control module (AUM)
What you can do
- 1Check that the connectors to the four-disc changer are secure and free from oxidation
- 2Have a workshop check the four-disc changer
- 3If the fault remains, have the audio control module (AUM) replaced by a workshop; the new unit must be programmed after fitting
