What does this fault code mean?
The audio control module (AUM) has registered that the cassette player did not finish loading the cassette in time. The fault is intermittent and may not be present now. It is usually caused by a cassette or debris in the opening rather than by the player itself.
Possible causes
- Defective cassette
- Defective cassette player
- Debris in the cassette slot
What you can do
- 1Check that nothing is left in the cassette slot or blocking the opening
- 2Try a different, undamaged cassette
- 3Clear the code and check whether it returns
