What does this fault code mean?
The audio control module (AUM) cannot detect the cassette player or cannot communicate with it. The fault is present now, and the cassette player does not work at all. It may lie in the player, in the connection or in the audio control module itself.
Possible causes
- Defective cassette player
- Poor contact or communication fault with the audio control module (AUM)
- Internal fault in the audio control module (AUM)
What you can do
- 1Check that the cassette player connectors are secure and free from oxidation
- 2Have a workshop check the cassette player
- 3If the fault remains, have the audio control module (AUM) replaced by a workshop; the new unit must be programmed after fitting
