What does this fault code mean?
The audio control module (AUM) has determined that focusing in the ten-disc changer does not work. The fault is present now. Common causes are a disc that is seated wrongly or has condensation, but the changer itself may also be at fault.
Possible causes
- Defective ten-disc changer
- Defective CD disc
- CD disc inserted the wrong way round
- Condensation on the disc or in the changer
What you can do
- 1Make sure the disc is free of condensation
- 2Check that the disc is seated correctly and try a new disc
- 3If the changer still does not work, have it replaced by a workshop
- 4If no fault is found, have a workshop replace the audio control module (AUM); the new unit must be programmed after fitting
