What does this fault code mean?
The audio control module (AUM) has at some point failed to detect the ten-disc changer, or found it incorrectly installed. The fault is intermittent. The cause may be a loose connection or an incorrectly fitted changer.
Possible causes
- Incorrectly installed ten-disc changer
- Defective ten-disc changer
- Poor contact in the connections
What you can do
- 1Check that the ten-disc changer is correctly fitted and that its connectors are secure
- 2Check the connectors at the changer and the audio control module for looseness and oxidation
- 3Clear the code and check whether it returns
- 4If it returns, have a workshop check the connections and the changer
