What does this fault code mean?
The audio unit has detected an internal fault in its audio section during its self-test, which runs every second while the unit is on. The fault normally lies in the audio unit itself. Sound, navigation and the display can be affected while the fault is active.

- Defective audio unit
What you can do
- 1Read the stored codes and note them before clearing
- 2Clear the code and see whether it returns; if it is not stored, the fault has probably been intermittent
- 3If the fault remains, have a workshop try a new audio unit
- 4After fitting a new audio unit, it may take a while for GPS signals to be received and the position to be calculated correctly
