Applies to the following models:

What does this fault code mean?
The accessory USB unit (AUU) control module checks its configuration identifier against the signal setup from the central electronic module (CEM) on the CAN network. The fault can also be caused by a configuration file that lacks parameters, or by an internal program memory fault. While the fault is present, the USB functions do not work.
Possible causes
- Disturbed communication between the accessory USB unit (AUU) and the central electronic module (CEM)
- Incorrect configuration ID, for example a used module with different software or hardware
- Internal program memory fault in the module
What you can do
- 1Have a workshop download new software to the module, then check that the fault has cleared
- 2Check that the correct accessory USB unit is fitted to the car
- 3Check the MOST cables and the cables to the USB port and replace them if damaged
- 4Replace the module if the fault remains, as it probably has an internal fault
Symptoms you may notice1
- USB accessory does not work
