What does this fault code mean?
The accessory USB unit (AUU) control module checks its configuration identifier against the signal setup from the central electronic module (CEM) on the CAN network. The code is set when the car's configuration file lacks some parameters, and It can occur when the module is not intended for this particular car.
Possible causes
- Disturbed communication between the accessory USB unit (AUU) and the central electronic module (CEM)
- Incorrect configuration ID, for example a used module with different software or hardware
What you can do
- 1Check that the correct accessory USB unit is fitted to the car
- 2Check the communication between the USB unit and the central electronic module with diagnostic equipment
- 3If the configuration is missing, have a workshop download the correct configuration to the module
- 4Clear the code only once the work is done, and check that it does not return
