What does this fault code mean?
The pressure sensor in the hydraulic unit reports a temperature value that the module cannot rely on. The code is set when the module detects a faulty value from the sensor. The fault may be in the sensor or an internal disturbance in the brake control module.
Possible causes
- Pressure sensor in the hydraulic unit not working
- Fault inside the brake control module (BCM)
What you can do
- 1Clear the code and check whether it returns
- 2Read the fault status with diagnostic equipment
- 3If the fault remains, have a workshop replace the hydraulic unit
- 4The brake system is safety critical: do not work on the hydraulic unit yourself, and drive carefully until the fault is fixed
Symptoms you may notice3
- Traction control does not work
- Stability function does not work
- The anti-spin and anti-skid lamps show a fault or no indication
What the fault can affect1
- Traction control (TC), stability control (SC) and active yaw control (AYC) are disabled
