BCM-C100A54 - Brake Pedal Angle Sensor. System Programming Failures. Missing calibration
System
Brake Control Module (BCM)

Applies to the following models:
1 modelV60 (2011–)
Show models by year and engine (2)
What does this fault code mean?
On the V60, the brake control module (BCM) has found that the calibration of the brake pedal angle sensor is missing or has not been carried out correctly. Functions that depend on the pedal signal, such as hill descent assist, may therefore be blocked until calibration is done.
Possible causes
- Calibration of the brake control module is missing
What you can do
- 1Clear the codes in the brake control module and road test the car to see whether they return
- 2Have a workshop calibrate the brake pedal angle sensor with diagnostic equipment
- 3If the fault returns, the brake control module needs replacing by a workshop, and the workshop must then recalibrate the acceleration sensor and the internal sensors
- 4The braking system is safety critical: do not work on the calibration or the braking system yourself; leave this to a workshop
Symptoms you may notice4
- Hill descent assist does not work
- Front monitoring and adaptive cruise control do not work
- Hill start assist does not work
- Anti-spin function does not work
