What does this fault code mean?
On the V60, the brake control module (BCM) has found that vacuum consumption is unreasonably high. This points to a leak in the vacuum system to the brake booster, which must be located and repaired.
Possible causes
- Leak in the vacuum system
What you can do
- 1Check the fuse and the connections to the vacuum pump
- 2Check the vacuum hoses and their connections for leaks
- 3Have a workshop locate the leak and replace the vacuum pump if the fault remains after these checks
- 4The braking system is safety critical: do not work on the brake booster or vacuum system yourself; leave this to a workshop
