What does this fault code mean?
Its own configuration ID is checked against the one used on Sensor-CAN. The code is set when the ID does not match, which can happen if a control module has been replaced without the correct software being loaded.
Possible causes
- Incorrect configuration ID, for example a used control module not intended for this car
- Sporadic breaks on one of the CAN wires in the network
What you can do
- 1Read and note the fault code, clear it and road test to check whether it returns
- 2Have a workshop check the configuration ID and load the correct software into the control module
- 3The high voltage system should only be handled by qualified personnel, so have a workshop carry out all work on the battery and other high voltage parts
