What does this fault code mean?
The control module continuously receives information from several other control modules over HS-CAN. The code is set when communication with the central electronic module (CEM) has stopped. The fault usually lies in the sending module or in the wiring between the modules.
Possible causes
- The fault probably lies in the sending control module
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connectors
- Damaged communication wiring on the CAN network
What you can do
- 1Read and note the fault code, clear it and road test to check whether it returns
- 2Have a workshop read the fault codes in the sending control module and remedy them first
- 3The high voltage system should only be handled by qualified personnel, so have a workshop carry out all work on the battery and other high voltage parts
