What does this fault code mean?
The control module continuously receives information from several other control modules over Sensor-CAN. The code is set when communication with the inverter generator module (IGM) has stopped. The fault usually lies in the sending module or in the connectors and wires on Sensor-CAN.
Possible causes
- The fault probably lies in the sending control module
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connectors
- Damaged communication wiring on the CAN network
What you can do
- 1Read and note the fault code, clear it and road test to check whether it returns
- 2Have a workshop check the Sensor-CAN connectors and wires for damage
- 3The high voltage system should only be handled by qualified personnel, so have a workshop carry out all work on the battery and other high voltage parts
