What does this fault code mean?
The seat heating module on the left side has registered an internal fault and so does not control the seat heater. The fault shows with the key in positions 1 or 2. If it has only happened once it may have been a glitch at start-up, but if it is permanent the module must be replaced.
Possible causes
- Fault inside the left seat heating module
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuse for the seat heating is intact
- 2Clear the fault code and test drive. Check whether the seat heater works and whether the fault code comes back
- 3If the fault returns or is permanent, have a workshop replace the left-hand seat heating module
- 4If you have a diagnostic tool, activate the seat heater from the activation function and check that the seat gets warm
