System
Climate Control Module (CCM)

What does this fault code mean?
The climate control module has registered that the supply voltage to the recirculation and temperature damper motors is too low. The motors may then not be able to move their flaps properly, which can affect both the airflow and the cabin temperature. The cause may be a short to ground in the supply to one of the motors, or a defective motor.
Possible causes
- The positive supply cable to the recirculation motor is short-circuited to ground
- The negative supply cable to the temperature flap motor is short-circuited to ground
- Defective damper motor
What you can do
- 1Check the climate control fuse and that the motor connectors are tight and clean
- 2Use a multimeter to check that the supply cables to the motors have no contact with ground (the body). If they do, the fault is in the wiring
- 3If the cables are intact but the fault remains, have a workshop replace the damper motor and calibrate its end positions
- 4If you have a diagnostic tool: follow the recirculation flap position in live data while you switch recirculation on and off. The position should change clearly between open and closed
- 5Clear the code and check that airflow and temperature work as they should after the work
Symptoms you may notice2
- The airflow does not work as it should
- The cabin temperature does not follow the selected setting
