What does this fault code mean?
The climate control module has found an internal fault in the switch at the front of the tunnel console. The switch sends fault messages to the module, so the buttons on the tunnel console may stop working. Functions such as park assist and automatic engine start/stop can also be affected.

- Internal fault in the switch on the front tunnel console
What you can do
- 1Check that the connector to the switch on the tunnel console is tight and clean
- 2Press the buttons on the tunnel console one at a time and note which ones do not respond and which functions are affected
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool: read the status of the front tunnel console switch in live data. The status should change when the buttons are pressed and released
- 4Clear the code and test drive the car to see whether the buttons and park assist work again. If the fault is intermittent it may return later
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop replace the front tunnel console switch

- The buttons on the keypad do not work
- Front and rear park assist does not work
- Blind spot warning (BLIS) is not functioning
- Automatic engine start/stop does not work, either while driving or at idle
