What does this fault code mean?
The climate control module (CCM) has registered that the right-hand seat heater button has been pressed for too long to be an ordinary button press. This can be because the switch has stuck in the panel, or because the climate control module is faulty. The fault may be permanent, or it may have occurred only once before.
Possible causes
- The button is jammed in the climate control panel
- Defective climate control module
What you can do
- 1Read off and clear the fault code, then check whether it returns
- 2Check that the right-hand seat heater button is not stuck in the pressed position and that it does not stick
- 3With diagnostic equipment, follow the status of the right-hand seat heater button in live data. The status should change when the button is pressed and change back when it is released
- 4If the button works correctly but the fault remains, the climate control module is probably defective
- 5Have a workshop read off and note the programmed values, then replace and program the climate control module
