What does this fault code mean?
The signal from the rear seat heating switch is incorrect, and the climate control module (CCM) registers this. The cause is an internal fault in the switch.
Possible causes
- Internal fault in the rear seat heating switch
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses for the rear seat heating are intact
- 2Try the switch and see whether the rear seat heat can be switched on and off
- 3Read and note the code, clear it and road test the car
- 4Check that the switch connector is fully engaged and clean
- 5With a diagnostic tool, read the switch in live data while you turn the heat on and off; replace the switch if it does not respond
