What does this fault code mean?
The fan in the left front backrest is not working. The fan is connected to the seat heating module (SHM), and the climate control module (CCM) monitors it while the engine is running. Ventilation in the backrest is lost, and the fault is an internal fault in the fan.

What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses for the seat ventilation are intact
- 2Try the seat ventilation with the control and listen for whether the fan runs
- 3Read and clear the code, then road test the car to see whether it returns
- 4Check that the connectors to the fan and the seat heating module (SHM) are secure and not corroded
- 5If the fault remains, use a diagnostic tool to activate the seat ventilation and listen for whether the fan starts, and check the wiring
