Applies to the following models:

What does this fault code mean?
The fan blowing air over the cabin temperature sensor is stationary, and the climate control module (CCM) registers that the fan blades are stationary. The sensor then does not get the air it needs to measure correctly, so cabin temperature may differ from the setting.
Possible causes
- Blower fan for the cabin temperature sensor is blocked
- The fan is not working
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses for the climate system are intact
- 2Listen for whether the fan runs while the climate system is on
- 3Check whether anything blocks the fan, such as debris or a lodged object
- 4Read and clear the code, then road test the car to see whether it returns
- 5If the fault remains after the blockage is gone, have a workshop replace the fan
Symptoms you may notice1
- Cabin temperature does not match the setting
