What does this fault code mean?
The climate control module (CCM) has lost contact with the right temperature damper motor on LIN bus 2. Without a reply from the motor, the module cannot control the airflow on the right side. The cause is an open circuit on the bus or poor connections.
Possible causes
- Open circuit on LIN bus 2
- Poor contact, corrosion or loose connections at the connectors
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses are intact
- 2Check that the connectors to the damper motor and the climate control module are secure and free from corrosion
- 3Read and clear the code and road test the car to see whether it returns
- 4Test the right side temperature control and see whether the air changes
- 5Check with a multimeter that the LIN bus wires are not open, and that they are not chafed or pinched
