What does this fault code mean?
The right temperature damper motor sends an incorrect response to the climate control module (CCM) over LIN bus 2. The fault is in the motor or its control module, so temperature control on the right side may work incorrectly or not at all.
Possible causes
- Internal fault in the right temperature damper motor
- Internal fault in the control module of the right temperature damper motor
What you can do
- 1Check that the damper motor sits correctly in place and is fitted correctly
- 2Check that the damper is not blocked or stuck
- 3If no other fault is found, have a workshop replace the right temperature damper motor
- 4After replacement the module has to be identified and calibrated, which a workshop does with diagnostic equipment
- 5Clear the code and road test the car to see whether it returns
