What does this fault code mean?
The defog damper motor has a fault according to the climate control module (CCM). The fault lies in the motor or its control module, so defogging may work poorly or not at all. If the fault remains, the component itself is probably the cause.

- Internal fault in the defog damper motor
- Internal fault in the control module for the defog damper motor
- Incorrect calibration after loss of power
What you can do
- 1Read and clear the code, then road test the car to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the connector to the damper motor is secure and not corroded
- 3Try the defog function with the control and see whether air reaches the affected windows
- 4If the fault remains, activate the damper motor with a diagnostic tool and listen for whether it moves; if not, have a workshop replace it
