What does this fault code mean?
The climate control module (CCM) has registered a wrong step count between the two end positions of the air distribution damper motor. The damper therefore does not reach the correct position when controlled. This can be caused by a blocked damper or by the climate system being calibrated at the wrong temperature.

- Climate system calibrated at the wrong temperature
- Internal fault in the air distribution damper motor or its control module
What you can do
- 1Check that the damper motor sits correctly in place
- 2Check that the damper is not blocked or stuck, for example by a screw, a cable or a foam rubber gasket
- 3Read and clear the code, then road test the car to see whether it returns
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop calibrate the climate control module with diagnostic equipment
- 5If the fault returns after calibration, activate the damper motor with a diagnostic tool and check that it moves
