What does this fault code mean?
The climate control module (CCM) receives a message on LIN bus 1 that does not match what it expects. The fault may be caused by interference or by two components trying to control the bus at the same time.
Possible causes
- Communication interference
- Two master nodes are present on the LIN bus
What you can do
- 1Clear the code and road test the car to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the connectors on the LIN bus are secure and free from corrosion
- 3Check that the seat heating module (SHM) is correctly placed and properly connected
- 4If you have a diagnostic tool, read which components answer on the bus
- 5If the fault remains, read which nodes answer on the LIN bus with a diagnostic tool; have a workshop correct any extra master node
