What does this fault code mean?
The climate control module (CCM) has lost communication on LIN bus 1, so it can no longer talk to the damper motors and seat heating modules on the bus. The fault is caused by a short circuit to ground or to supply voltage on the bus.

- Short circuit to ground
- Short circuit to supply voltage
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses are intact
- 2Check that the connectors on the LIN bus are secure, clean and undamaged
- 3Check that the wiring between the climate control module and the components is not chafed or pinched
- 4Check with a multimeter that the LIN bus wires have no contact with ground (the bodywork) or with supply voltage when the connectors are disconnected
- 5After repair, clear the code and check that the controls respond as expected
