What does this fault code mean?
The climate control module (CCM) receives a message on LIN bus 2 that does not match what it expects. The fault may be caused by interference in the communication, and heating in the cabin and defogging may then be controlled incorrectly.

- Communication interference
What you can do
- 1Clear the code and road test the car to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the connectors on LIN bus 2 are secure and free from corrosion
- 3Check with a multimeter that the LIN bus 2 wires are not open when the connectors are disconnected
- 4If you have a diagnostic tool, read live data from the components on the bus and note which ones do not respond

- Front seat heating does not operate
- Rear seat heating does not operate
- Windscreen defog or defrost does not work
