What does this fault code mean?
The climate control module (CCM) monitors the passenger compartment fan, which is not working. The fault is caused by the fan connector not being connected or by an open circuit in the fan circuit. Cabin temperature may then differ from the setting.
Possible causes
- The passenger compartment fan connector is not connected
- Open circuit in the passenger compartment fan circuit
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses for the climate system are intact
- 2Check that the connector to the passenger compartment fan is fully seated
- 3Listen for whether the fan runs when the climate system is on
- 4Check with a multimeter that the fan wire is not open when the connector is disconnected
- 5If you have a diagnostic tool, activate the passenger compartment fan and listen for whether it starts; check the circuit too if the fault remains
