What does this fault code mean?
The climate control module (CCM) receives no message from the humidity sensor. The fault is caused by an open circuit in the wire to the sensor or by an internal fault in the sensor. Defogging of the windows and mirrors may then work poorly or stop.
Possible causes
- Open circuit in the wire between the climate control module and the humidity sensor
- Internal fault in the air humidity sensor
What you can do
- 1Check that the humidity sensor connector is secure and clean
- 2Check with a multimeter that the sensor wire is not open when the connectors are disconnected
- 3Clear the code and road test the car to see whether it returns
- 4If the fault remains, replace the humidity sensor if you can reach it, otherwise have a workshop do it

- Mirror defog or defrost does not work
- Side window defog or defrost does not work
