What does this fault code mean?
The climate control module (CCM) has found that one component on LIN bus 1 is sending incorrect data and disrupting communication on the bus. The suspected component may be the left seat heating module (SHM). The fault can cause several symptoms in the heating and air functions.
Possible causes
- Faulty data sent over LIN bus 1
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses are intact
- 2Disconnect the connector to the left seat heating module and see whether the other functions work again
- 3If the other functions then work, have a workshop replace the left seat heating module
- 4If the fault remains, disconnect the components on the climate unit one at a time and see which one lets the others work again
- 5Clear the code and road test the car to see whether it returns

- Poor heating in the cabin
- Front seat heating does not operate
