What does this fault code mean?
The climate control module (CCM) does not receive information from the infotainment control module (ICM) over the CAN network. The fault is probably in the sending control module or in the wiring between them. The symptoms concern the display in the infotainment system.
Possible causes
- Fault-trace the sending control module
- Intermittent open circuits on the CAN wires
- Incorrect signal configuration in the sending control module
What you can do
- 1Clear the code and check whether it returns
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool, read the fault codes in the infotainment system and see whether they also show communication faults
- 3Check that the CAN wire connectors are secure and clean
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop download new software to the sending control module
