CCM-U300362 - Battery Voltage. Algorithm Based Failures. Signal compare failure
System
Climate Control Module (CCM)
Volvo models this fault code applies to
Applies to the following models:
9 modelsS60 (2011–), S80 (2007–), V40 (2013–), V40 Cross Country (2013–), V60 (2011–), V60 Cross Country (2015–), V70 (2008–), XC60 (2009–), XC70 (2008–)
What does this fault code mean?
The climate control module (CCM) compares its supply voltage with the voltage in the central electronic module (CEM). The fault only needs fixing if it has been active for a long time and you notice that a function does not work; otherwise it can be cleared. The cause may be contact resistance or a damaged supply wire.
Possible causes
- Contact resistance
- Damaged supply voltage wire
What you can do
- 1Check that the battery is charged and that the battery terminals are clean and tight
- 2Check that the fuses are intact
- 3Check with a multimeter that the voltage at the climate control module connector is steady when the ignition is on
- 4Look for chafed or corroded wires in the supply
- 5Clear the code and road test the car to see whether it returns
Symptoms you may notice2
- Climate control does not work at all
- Temperature control or air conditioning does not work
General guidance for car owners. Diagnosis on the car can point to a different cause.
