The fault is intermittent. The CEM has registered that the real time clock stopped at an earlier time, but the fault is no longer present. The parking heater and the clock in the information module may have worked poorly for a while.
Possible causes
- Internal fault in the CEM
What you can do
- 1Clear the code and restart the car
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool, read the code after the restart; if it does not return, the fault is probably intermittent
- 3Set the clock again if it shows the wrong time
- 4If the fault returns, have a workshop replace the CEM
Symptoms you may notice2
- The parking heater does not operate
- The information module clock does not work
