Possible causes
- The signal cable is shorted to supply voltage
What you can do
- 1With the ignition on, check that cruise control does not work. Check that the connectors at the clutch and accelerator pedal sensors are seated
- 2Use a multimeter to check that the signal wires to the pedal sensors have no short to supply voltage
- 3Look for chafed or pinched cables at the pedals and free any that are being pinched
- 4After the work, clear the code and check that cruise control works
