What does this fault code mean?
The left-hand gas discharge lamp module (GDL) has told the CEM that the position sensor calibration did not succeed. Automatic headlamp range control therefore does not work, and the shortest headlamp range is used. The calibration must be repeated by a workshop.
Possible causes
- Calibration of the position sensors has failed
What you can do
- 1Check that the left headlamp is firmly fitted and that the position sensors are installed correctly
- 2If the car has been loaded or is standing on a sloping surface, the calibration can go wrong. Tell the workshop about this
- 3Have a workshop repeat the calibration and clear the code afterwards
Symptoms you may notice1
- Automatic headlamp range control does not work
What the fault can affect1
- The shortest headlamp range is used
