What does this fault code mean?
The central electronic module (CEM) has registered a signal that is too low on the driver circuit for the right-hand indicator. The cause is a control signal wire shorted to ground, so the right-hand indicator on that side does not work.
Possible causes
- Control signal wire to the right-hand indicator shorted to ground
What you can do
- 1Flash the right-hand indicator with the ignition on to see whether the fault is permanent or has occurred before
- 2Clear the code and check whether it returns with the ignition on
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the control signal wire has no contact with ground (the body)
- 4Look for chafing and pinch damage where the wire may have touched the body
- 5Check that the connectors to the right-hand indicator are firmly seated and clean
- 6If the fault returns, have a workshop trace the wiring
