What does this fault code mean?
The code concerns the switches for continuous wiping and intermittent wiping of the rear window being active at the same time on the wiper lever. The CEM reacts to this, and the rear wiper motor then does not work.

- Damaged windshield wiper lever
What you can do
- 1Clear the code and check whether it returns with the ignition on
- 2Test the rear window positions on the lever one at a time and see whether continuous wiping and intermittent wiping are active together
- 3If the fault only shows now and then, operate the lever several times to see whether a position sticks
- 4Check that the lever is firmly seated and not loose
- 5If the fault returns, have a workshop replace the wiper switch
