What does this fault code mean?
The fault code is stored when the control module is configured without tyre pressure monitoring, which applies to cars built for the US market. It is a settings issue and normally gives no noticeable symptoms.
Possible causes
- Control module programmed with the wrong vehicle configuration, for example without tyre pressure monitoring even though the car should have it
What you can do
- 1Check the car's documents for which market version it was built for and whether it should have tyre pressure monitoring
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool, clear the fault code and road test to see whether it returns
- 3If the fault returns, have a workshop check and reprogram the vehicle configuration in the control module
Symptoms you may notice1
- No noticeable symptoms for the driver
